Fratello’s Goes Green

Whether you believe in global warming, or not, there is one thing you can’t deny. Reducing your energy footprint, and conserving resources has a positive impact on the Earth. That’s why at Fratello’s Restaurant in Sea Girt, we have made it one of our goals to be conscious of our energy waste and start conserving!

Fratello’s has teamed with Viridian Energy. Viridian was founded in 2009 with the purpose to offer an energy alternative and help to change the way that people see energy consumption. Through the partnership of many homes and businesses, Viridian has been able to see that come to fruition in the past five years.

Using a combination of traditional electricity and pure green electricity (though some choose to power through 100% pure green electricity,) and energy conservation practices, the collective impact of Viridian is:

o   More than 3 billion CO2 Emissions Avoided

o   Close to 35 million trees planted

o   More than 150 million gallons of gas avoided

At Fratello’s, it’s not only important to us to conserve energy for the purposes of saving money or reducing electricity usage. We also strive to make a positive impact on the beautiful environment we are lucky enough to be surrounded by here at the Jersey Shore. Though it might be difficult to calculate or determine the exact affects, there is no doubt that everything impacts the environment in some way. Therefore, we feel it is our responsibility as a business and as year-round residents of this beautiful town, to do our part to keep it that beautiful.

Whether you’re a long-time resident, or just visiting the shore, come dine or have a drink with us at Fratello’s Restaurant! We are open seven days a week lunch Friday through Sunday! Of course, every Friday night we have great entertainment as well! We can host your private event from birthday parties to rehearsal dinners.
